Lessons on first-aid skills for 65 students

Sixty-five students, comprising members of cadet teams from 13 government secondary schools, learnt basic first aid skills after completing a three-day course yesterday.

The course was organised by the Ministry of Education (MoE) through the Uniformed and Community Services Division of the Department of Co-Curriculum Education in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BRCS).

Held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Lifelong Learning Centre (L3C) at the MoE in Kampong Lambak Kanan, the course was held to recognise and expose the school’s Red Crescent Cadet team members as volunteers in handling emergency first aid matters and prepare them with skills needed during a calamity.
