Leadership camp focuses on Islamic values

Muslim youth should obey Allah the Almighty’s commands and stay away from His prohibitions, said Islamic Development Management Faculty (FPPI) at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali Dean Associate Professor Dr Anis Malik Thoha during the opening ceremony of the Islamic Development Leadership Camp from September 15 to 17.

The three-day event included a leadership training and a donation drive for the Maulidur Rasul celebration, where students distributed food and drinks to those who participated in the procession. It concluded with the closing ceremony and Dean’s Award presentations.

Students also visited the Child’s Development Centre, Kampong Batong Mosque, Kampong Birau Mosque, Kampong Semabat and Kampong Sukang religious halls.

The camp aimed to build friendship among faculty members and strengthen student leadership, aligning with FPPI’s goal to educate students in management and leadership based on Islamic principles. – Azlan Othman
