The Public Works Department (JKR) announced a scheduled cleaning operation for the Rimba 2 water tank, which will take place on Tuesday, February 18, from 9.00 am until completion.
According to JKR, the affected areas include RPN Kg Rimba, parts of STKRJ Kg Rimba, and surrounding neighbourhoods. Residents in these areas may experience low water pressure, particularly those residing in higher ground areas.
To mitigate the temporary disruption, a blue water tank has been set up at Taman Rekreasi RPN Kg Rimba for public use.
JKR advises affected residents to store an adequate water supply in advance and encourages those in need of additional water supply to contact the Darussalam Hotline at 123 for water tanker assistance.
The department also expressed its appreciation for the public’s patience and cooperation during the maintenance period, assuring that efforts are being made to restore normal water supply as soon as possible. – Izah Azahari
