James Kon

As the Sultanate reaches a high rate of vaccination against COVID-19 among the populace, the Indoor Stadium Vaccination Centre will cease its operation from July 1, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced yesterday.

In a statement, the MoH said the pandemic situation continues to be under control with over 70 per cent of the population vaccinated against the virus.

The National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme will continue at several health centres in Brunei-Muara District beginning July 2. The public wishing to get inoculated can visit the Berakas Health Centre in Kampong Lambak Kanan.

It is open from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 11.30am and from 1.45pm to 4pm. Additional operating hours are every Friday and Sunday from 2pm to 8pm. The centre will be closed on public holidays. From July 4, COVID-19 vaccinations will be available at the Pengkalan Batu Health Centre and Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Health Centre in Kampong Sungai Asam.

The operating hours are from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 11.30am and from 1.45pm to 4pm.
