Magistrate Syaffina binti Shahif on Saturday adjourned the case against an Indonesian national who had denied attacking a policeman on duty.
The court fixed May 6 to set trial dates.
Puji Kurniawan, 26, allegedly caused harm to a policeman by biting his left forearm on April 1 at the Berakas Police Station, the court heard.
According to Prosecutor Nurul Husna binti Abidin, the defendant was purportedly arrested after his employer filed a report saying that he had fled.
Allegations say that this was when the defendant bit the policeman’s arm. – Fadley Faisal
