A foreign national was detained by the Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) yesterday for working in a job not stated in his work permit.
An operation was carried out at an electronics shop in Jalan Sungai Pandan, Belait District when law enforcers uncovered the violation.
The INRD, in a statement, called the public to report immigration offences to the authority by calling its hotline 8734888 or 8753888 for Bandar Seri Begawan or 8984111 for Belait. – Azlan Othman
