    Brunei-Muara District office hoists national flag

    The Brunei-Muara District Office held a flag hoisting ceremony at in Jalan Airport Lama Berakas on Saturday in the presence of Acting Brunei Muara District Officer Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim as the guest of honour.

    An event organised in conjunction with the upcoming 41st National Day 2025, the guest of honour also distributed flags and appreciation certificates to Mukim Penghulus and Acting Penghulus, representatives for higher learning institutions, NGOs and representatives for the Brunei Muara District Police and Department of Fire and Rescue Band.

    Also receiving the flags and certificates were representatives from the private sectors, Syababul Bahir Choir Group as well as several local institutions and associations including the Tiong Hua Community in the district represented by Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Goh King Chin.

    The ceremony began with the Recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Village Head of RPN Panchor Area 4 Awang Faidil Rosemady bin Mohamad and proceeded with the handing over of the national flag to members of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) for the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, which was accompanied by the National Anthem ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’. – Lyna Mohammad
