A group of Standard Chartered Bank employees flexed their leadership muscles in a two-day Core Leadership Programme recently.
In addition to pledging to the Leadership Agreement, they experienced dimensional case studies dealing with scenarios taken from actual companies and applied their leadership skills in teams offering innovative solutions to the challenges presented.
Standard Chartered Chief Executive Officer Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim was a presentation panellist along with management team members supporting the programme as faculty member and presentation panellist.
Pengiran Aki Ismasufian said, “This programme aims to hone employees’ leadership skills so that as an organisation, we continue to stay true to our values.
The programme offers fresh perspectives where they have the opportunity to connect face-to-face with like-minded leaders. With this programme, we hope our employees will be empowered to become effective leaders”.
Real time feedback was provided to employees and scores to all the teams involved virtually across Malaysia, Singapore and the Sultanate who were part of the year’s cohort. Employees involved in Standard Chartered’s Core Leadership Programme will continue their learning journey for a few more weeks with more activities and challenges.
