The LCB Extraordinary November 2023’s primary goal is to showcase the students’ work and provide them with hands-on experience managing and organising events, Laksamana College of Business (LCB) Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Principal Sivarajah Subramaniam said in his opening remarks during the launch of the LCB Extraordinary November 2023 yesterday.

The ceremony, held to recognise student projects from BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business, City and Guilds Level 3 Advanced Diploma Culinary Arts and BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality, was officiated by Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid.

“Today marks a significant moment in our academic journey as we officially start a project that we the students have been working hard on as part of our ‘Managing an Event’ module assignment. The event represents the result of our efforts, our creativity and our dedication to bridging the gap between theory and practice,” said student representative Azmina.

The events will span for three weekends until November 19. – Adib Noor
