Bearing gifts of red packets and festive hampers, a team from imagine Sdn Bhd brought smiles to the faces of the elderly at the Seria Old Folks Home yesterday.
The visit was part of imagine’s community engagement efforts, and coincided with its second anniversary.
imagine Chief Executive Officer Suzannawati binti Haji Suharju led the team, which included Vice President of Finance Callie Tan, in delivering the gifts and clocking in quality time with the elderly.
The team also donated two mobile phones to assist with the facility’s operations, and shopping vouchers to purchase basic necessities.
The visit was a continuation to imagine’s series of community engagement activities that kicked off earlier last week at the Balai Ibadat in Kampong Sungai Pandan, during which time, items were donated to congregants, along with meals for children, the elderly, and differently-abled from the nearby area.
Activities continue with a blood donation drive on the first floor of Airport Mall today, open to the public. Donors will be rewarded with either free broadband or mobile data, SIM card, port-in or merchandise, while stocks last. While walk-ins are welcomed, donors are advised to book a slot through the BloodKad app.
