School supplies, food items for 41 students

Forty-one students from Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School (SMSSA) and Berakas Secondary School yesterday received school supplies, face masks and food items as part of the 10th Jiwaku Ikhlas Charity Project.

The project – a collaboration between the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment (RBMRR), Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Military Cadets – is led by Commanding Officer of RBMRR Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Suradzin bin Haji Mohd Yusof and Kris Karmila Kreation Co led by Hajah Karmila binti Haji Sapar.

Before leaving the Rimba Camp, a certificate presentation was held in appreciation of the sponsors which included the Embassy of Iran in Brunei Darussalam, Kris Karmila Kreations Co Krispy Krunchiez, Firoz Jaya Silk House Sdn Bhd, Superwater Marketing Sdn Bhd, CJMM Company Furniture, Kedai Jam Brunei, The Persian Gallery, Phoenix Star, Dapur Qisk, Project Printhub, RBMRR with RBAF Military Cadets and the public.

The delegation first headed to SMSSA to distribute the donations, before moving on to Berakas Secondary School. Iranian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Homeira Rigi Zirouki led the distribution of donations at SMSSA. Also present was Brunei-Muara District Officer Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim.

The RBMRR also supervised the managing of transportation and manpower for the event.

The project’s 11th edition is set for next month. The public is welcome to support and contribute towards the initiative.
