Eleven officers of the Haj Management Office who joined this year’s Haj season arrived in the Sultanate yesterday.
The delegation led by Head of the Haj Management Department (Administration) Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohammad left for Saudi Arabia on July 2 to make early preparations for Brunei pilgrims before their arrival.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office cum Acting Minister of Health Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof welcomed the delegation.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, and Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) at the Ministry of Health Dr Hajah Anie Haryani binti Haji Abdul Rahman were also present.
