Guardian Brunei expanded its reach with the grand opening of its 29th store at Sunway Centre yesterday.
Head of Guardian Brunei Jennifer Yang, in a speech, said the new store’s opening marks a significant milestone for Guardian’s journey in Brunei, with its Sunway Centre branch the biggest one to date. The event marked a milestone in Guardian’s journey as well as paying homage to the rich traditions of Hari Raya.
A diverse group comprising the Guardian team, media representatives, key opinion leaders, President of Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA), Tsara’Nawwarah Abdullah Chen, along with the YASKA children and the public attended the opening.
Exclusive discounts of up to 60 per cent on selected items are on offer. The event saw the presentation of goodies to YASKA children as part of Guardian’s commitment to giving back to the community and foster an environment of inclusion and support followed by a group photo.
The event concluded with a Raya open house, where guests were treated to an array of food and beverages. – Adib Noor
