Government agencies receive recognition for organisational achievement

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam presented certificates of recognition to two government agencies for their achievement in the Public Sector Performance Grading Programme (3PSA) through star rating (3PSA) for the 2023/2024 financial year.

His Majesty presented the certificates during the 31st Civil Service Day celebration at the International Convention Centre in Berakas yesterday.

The two agencies are: the Office of the Public Service Commission under the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Department of Pharmaceutical Services under the Ministry of Health.

This is the second time both agencies have received such recognition, with the Department of Pharmaceutical Services previously awarded in 2018 and the Office of the Public Service Commission in 2019.

Since the implementation of 3PSA in the 2016/2017 financial year, 48 agencies have undergone assessment, including follow-ups for 21 agencies.

The 3PSA programme aims to recognise government bodies committed to improving performance, productivity, and service delivery.

The initiative aligns with the broader goals of Brunei Vision 2035, which seeks to ensure a high quality of life through excellent public services. – Fadley Faisal
