Golfers tee for a good cause

Bryan Chiew carded a score of 73 gross to emerge as the winner in the overall gross trophy during the 21st annual Rotary Charity Golf Tournament 2024 at the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club yesterday.

Ricky Ng, who finished with a score of 71 nett, won the best nett category. Meanwhile, Marc Robson won the division ‘A’ category with a score of 81 gross. Wee Hong Boon with a score of 71 was the winner in division ‘B’ and Pengiran Haslini with a score of 72 was the division ‘C’ winner. President of Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan (RCBSB) Daniel Thien and past district governor Jeff Yong presented the prizes.

RCBSB organised the tournament to raise funds for the RCBSB Bursary awards project which supports underprivileged students by covering their school fees.

RCBSB assisted over 200 students to pursue their education from primary through to university from the support garnered in the past 20 years of events. – James Kon
