Kampong Pandan residents were treated to fun games and activities yesterday at the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) as part of a two-day Aktiviti Mesra Perpustakaan programme to promote visitation to the library as well as literacy and pursuit of knowledge.
Residents and library staff began their day with a morning aerobic session before participating in fun games and activities. The games and activities were held throughout the premises to encourage residents to visit the library while spending the weekend with friends and family. In addition, there were prizes for participants of all ages.
Also set up across the interior and exterior premises of the library were booths and stalls.
The programme will continue today from 9.30am to 4.30pm. – Daniel Lim
