Forty pints of blood were collected on the first day of a blood donation drive at The Mall, Gadong yesterday.

Organised by The Body Shop in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and headed by Romeo Tabios, the campaign will also take place at the same venue today from 1pm to 5pm.

The blood donation drive aims to keep adequate blood supplies at the national blood bank while on a personal level, improve blood flow in the body, leading to a healthier and longer life, through regular donation.

The Body Shop Manager Josephine Padilla conveyed her appreciation to the donors and encouraged the public to download the Bloodkad app to register and book a slot to join the campaign.
