Former ambassador of Qatar to Brunei Darussalam Saleh Mohammed Al-Nesef, who served from 2012 to 2018, has extended his support to the ‘Donate Your Boots for Roots initiative.
The former ambassador recognised that the support will provide essential aid to those in need and looks forward to further strengthening ties between Brunei and Qatar through the Malam Minggu Pusat Belia (MMPB) platform.
The initiative not only highlights the enduring bonds between Brunei and Qatar but also underscores their mutual commitment to humanitarian causes.
As a former national football player for Qatar in his younger days, the former ambassador understands the importance of providing proper football boots for grassroots players.
His contribution reflects the understanding and supports the wider objectives of the initiative, aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of health, education and climate action. – Azlan Othman
