St George’s School Kindergarten hosted its annual book week recital at the Parish Hall yesterday.
The event, featuring over 140 students, showcased performances based on popular children’s books, highlighting the creativity and enthusiasm of the students.
In the morning, K3A students opened with a lively adaptation of The Ugly Duckling, followed by K2A’s portrayal of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and a rendition of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by K1A students.
The afternoon session kicked off with K3B performing From Head to Toe, followed by There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly by K2B and concluded with K1B’s Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?
The yearly event aims to inspire a love for reading among the students while building their confidence in public performance.
