Lambak Kiri Secondary School Deputy Principal Hajah Kameesah binti Haji Mohd Said expressed hopes that there would be more students receiving prizes in the coming years while emphasising the importance of ambitions and work ethics.
She said this at the school’s annual academic awards ceremony last month to celebrate outstanding Years 8-10 students. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and the singing of the national anthem before acknowledging high achievers and record attendance of the school. Pre-vocational students also received awards.
Head of the Academic Unit, Programme and Academic Division Dr Andree Asmara bin Haji Abidin was the guest of honour. Principal Rosmawati binti Mohammad, deputy principals, staff and students also participated.
