Five companies were fined for violations under the Town and Country Planning (Composition of Offences) Regulations, 2018.
The companies were found to have failed to comply with the Planning Authority’s warning letter during operation ‘OPKEMAS’ conducted by the Town and Country Planning Department for two days in the Brunei-Muara District recently.
Three companies were fined BND250 for the first offence, while two companies were fined BND500 for the second offence of violating the Town and Country Planning Regulations (Composition of Offences) Regulations, 2018 by placing, using, obstructing, and displaying items in parking lots, sidewalks and landscaped areas in business premises and businesses the companies operate.
The companies were given seven days to settle the fine. – Azlan Othman
