The result for HECAS 2024 (1st round) application to public higher education institutions (HEIs), including Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Universiti Teknologi Brunei and Politeknik Brunei, for the 2024/2025 academic year will be released today after 2.30pm, the Ministry of Education announced yesterday.
Applicants may login to their HECAS accounts to find out the application status in the HECAS portal at https://hecas.moe.gov.bn.
Unsuccessful applicants, who meet the entry requirement set by the HEIs and wish to appeal, are to take note of the following: applicants are given three working days to submit their appeal starting tomorrow; the last day to send the letter of appeal and related documents is on June 8 before 4.30pm; and applicants are advised to appeal and apply for a different programme from the one originally applied in February 2024.
Letters of appeal and related documents (hardcopy or softcopy) must be submitted according to the information given by each institution.
