A fire damaged a car at a parking area in Kampong Mentiri at noon on Tuesday. No injuries were reported.
Eleven firefighters led by ASO Rufiandi from Mentiri Fire Station were dispatched around 12.27pm, according to the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD).
On arrival, they were met with a raging fire in the engine bay of a sedan car with the driver and passenger having exited the vehicle.
The firefighters extinguished the fire with a reel hose from the fire engine.
The fire was brought under control within seven minutes.
Mentiri Fire Station Station Commander SO Pengiran Haji Ali Abdul Rahman bin Pengiran Haji Halus was at the scene.
