A 30 years’ jail with 15 whipping sentence handed to a man after being convicted of raping his two minor daughters and sexually assaulting them has been upheld by the Court of Appeal on Saturday.
The man committed the offences over a span of about three years, between 2017 to 2019, on ten counts.
He cited the case being his first offence on applying against the “excessive” sentence, claiming his entitlement to a discount.
The appellate court dismissed the application after weighing on the aggravating factors.
