GULF NEWS – Maharashtra’s Tribal Development Minister Vijaykumar Gavit recently sparked a contentious discussion by suggesting that individuals who consume fish regularly possess eyes as captivating as Aishwarya Rai.
The minister’s comment was delivered during a public rally held in Maharashtra’s Nandurbar district.
According to the minister, a habitual fish diet results in both supple skin and eyes that exude a noticeable radiance.
He emphasised that such individuals tend to be alluring to others due to these qualities.
“You must have seen how beautiful Aishwarya Rai’s eyes are. She grew up in the coastal area of Mangaluru in Karnataka. She ate fish on a regular basis which is why she has such beautiful eyes,” the minister added.
The bizarre remark triggered mixed reactions on the social media platform X as well.
A user wrote, “I am not sure about Aishwarya but fish do contain omega 3 which is indeed good for skin and eyes.”
