The event, in conjunction with the International Senior Citizens Day 2024, saw 14 PKWE members nationwide participating in Al-Quran reading competition.

The competition aims to foster friendship among the elderly through religious programmes and improve Al-Quran reading quality.

Eight participants competed in the final round on September 30.

The event proceeded with the recitation of verses of Al-Quran by the champions of the male and female categories.

It concluded with the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran and Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
