The Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) will begin implementing the registration of arrival information for foreign nationals electronically known as E-Arrival Card starting on February 9.
INRD said E-Arrival Card registration is mandatory for all foreign nationals entering the Sultanate through immigration control posts whether by sea, air and land.
Those who only transit at the Brunei International Airport or any port of entry in Brunei Darussalam are not required to fill in the E-Arrival Card.
Registration can be accessed online through https://www.imm.gov.bn and information must be filled in completely and correctly before the date of arrival to the Sultanate.
Documents required for the registration are a valid travel document or passport, residential address in Brunei Darussalam and flight details or vehicle used.
INRD emphasised that E-Arrival Card is not a visa or pass and must be applied separately.
Confirmation of E-Arrival Card registration is not an approval for entry into the country and still subjected to further inspection on arrival.
No payment is required for E-Arrival Card registration.
