Haji Yusdi bin Haji Matzin was among the 83 participants donating blood at the campaign organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) and the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre.

“A single blood donation can save up to three lives,” said Haji Yusdi, adding that these contributions are vital to maintaining a supply for people who need it.

It was his third time donating he said. “I was scared before, but after the first time, it felt good to donate to help others.”

Muhd Raimi Jafni Afiq, 27, said it was also his third time participating in a blood donation drive.

His motivation in donating was to help others, adding that regularly donating blood can help reduce risk of disease.

“I feel refreshed after a blood donation, so I hope I can donate every year,” he said.
