Jisco Marine held a Doa Selamat to mark the launch of its new vessel MV Nautical Maimunah at the MESB Port in Jalan Lorong Setia Diraja, Kuala Belait yesterday.
Serikandi Group of Companies Chairman and Managing Director of Shaikh Haji Khalid bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad was present, joined by Serikandi Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Revi Thuruthiyil Bhaskaran.
Following the recitation of Doa Selamat led by Haji Alias bin Bakar, Shaikh Khalid briefed the attendees on the new vessel which will be used to support offshore restoration, maintenance and construction project, including carrying cargo and containers to supply other vessels offshore.
The ceremony continued with the signing of a commemorative plaque, followed by a ribbon-cutting to officiate the launch.
Jisco Marine Director Shaikh Mohd Azmi bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad said the vessel showed the company’s commitment to support the industry in-country value (ICV) by increasing the number of local flag marine vessels for the Sultanate, while offering more marine services and providing one-stop reliable services in the country.
