The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony yesterday to mark the 33rd Teacher’s Day celebration, themed ‘Quality Teachers Driving Education Transformation‘, at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh were among the attendees.
Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the MoE Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the MoE Dr Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the MoE Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Ra’es of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Hardifadhillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh, heads of departments and divisions, officers and staff from both ministries also attended the ceremony. – Azlan Othman
