Eight Cub Scouts from Cub Scout Troop 1075, Sengkurong Primary School, participated in a fishing activity at the Kampong Kupang fish pond recently.
The activity was organised as part of the requirements for earning the fishing badge, which is included in the Cub Scouts’ badge scheme.
It also aimed to cultivate interest in outdoor activities among the young scouts while providing a productive way to spend their weekend.
Troop leader Nurhamizah binti Abdul Hamid said the initiative serves as a pilot project and may be expanded to include other scout troops in the future.
