Kolej International Graduate Studies (Kolej IGS) drew the curtains for its 16th Vibe Exhibition and Media Week with an opening ceremony at the exhibition venue of The One, Batu Satu on July 17.
The exhibition focused on showcasing final year students’ works from interactive, creative, and entrepreneurial concepts that meet the demand of today’s industries.
It featured a collection of creative works from students across various disciplines.
Several short films produced by the students under the guidance of their lecturers were also screened throughout the event. The opening ceremony began with the recitation of Doa by Khairi Abdillah Siddiqi bin Drs Haji Ismuhadi, followed by a speech by 16th Vibe Exhibition and Media Week committee members Awangku Muhd Danial bin Pengiran Haji Adi Hamlee from Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Nur Afiqah Insyirah binti Nor Ali from Faculty of Information Technology and Mohd Izzat Hadi bin Haji Mahadi from Faculty of Multimedia and Broadcasting.
Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Head of Government Relations and Special Projects Division Haji Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Wahsalfelah was the guest of honour, who officiated the launch.
Representatives from government and private sectors of the creative, media, business and information technology industries were also present. – Lyna Mohamad
