Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman received a courtesy call from Secretary of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Sabuddin N Abdurahim on Thursday.
The NCMF delegation was in Brunei Darussalam for the Zakat Framework Workshop held on October 24 and 25.
The courtesy call aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the Philippines while exchanging knowledge and experiences in religious services, regarding the welfare and development of the ummah, Islamic education, haj affairs, religious education scholarships, the halal industry, zakat and waqaf development.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim was also present at the meeting. – Fadley Faisal
