Cloud Hosting Service enhanced to meet growing market demands: UNN

Brunei’s first commercial Cloud Hosting Service (also known as UNN Infrastructure-as-a-Service) was launched by Unified National Networks (UNN) to meet the market’s IT demand in December 2021.

The UNN Infrastructure-as-a-Service portfolio was aimed to serve businesses in Brunei with an efficient and secure solution to host their application and data locally in the cloud without the need for heavy investments towards managing their own data centre infrastructure.

Since the launch, UNN has continued to improve on its service capability. As of March 2023, geographical redundancy capability is now added to UNN Infrastructure-as-a-Service portfolio to protect customers’ data against single site failure. With this architecture, customers’ business data is stored in multiple locations in Brunei, ensuring greater service availability and reliability.

UNN has also expanded its Infrastructure-as-a-Service portfolio by adding Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS to its existing myriad of Operations Systems which already includes Open Source such as CentOS, Ubuntu Linux, and Debian operating systems.

With UNN Infrastructure-as-a-Service, businesses can focus on their core competencies and leave all technical details of cloud hosting to UNN.
