Members from the Lions Club of Belait and Curtin University Leo Club banded together on March 15 to provide aid to Pawsup Animal Shelter.
Leading the volunteer work was Lions Club of Belait’s President Phyllis Jong, along with members from both clubs, who visited the centre to hand over donations and conduct some volunteer work.
The president felt heartened at the animal shelter’s effort, which houses more than 300 cats and dogs, which requires substantial resources to cover food and veterinary costs.
“It is heartwarming to see everyone come together to work and care for the animals in need,” added Phyllis. – Daniel Lim
