A certification presentation for a two-day professional certification workshop on ‘Career Coaching’ jointly organised by Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L) and AC-ACE Creative Training Services (ACTS) was held on December 6.
The workshop was held on July 16 and 17 at the Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA) building, UBD.
The speakers during the certification workshop included UBD Senior Assistant Professor from UBD Dr Nik AA Tuah, Master Behavioural Consultant from Lifeskills Institute Pte Ltd (Singapore) Ian Tan lead facilitator for the workshop; and facilitator from ACTS Audrey Choo.
The workshop aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to become a certified career coach to support others through the process of career-discovery.
It provided participants with the understanding of the four dimensional approach to self-discovery, a step-by-step guide to coaching, validated assessments, interactive tools and post-certification coaching.
The nine participants who attended the workshop successfully fulfilled the requirements and received their certificates during the presentation ceremony from Associate Professor Dr Jose Hernandez Santos, Director of C3L.
