Laksamana College of Business (LCB) celebrated World Kindness Day with a ‘Kindness Day 2024’ event yesterday at its campus.
The event, organised by the LCB student council, provided an opportunity for the participants to share acts of kindness, express appreciation, and support entrepreneurial efforts by fellow students and alumni.
Aimed at promoting compassion, gratitude, and positive interactions among students, staff and the wider community, the event encouraged attendees to contribute to a kindness wall by leaving heartfelt notes or messages, fostering a spirit of appreciation and community.
The celebration also featured a marketplace, where students and alumni showcased ‘kindness gifts’ crafted for the occasion.
Local entrepreneurs offered a variety of handmade products, treats, and bouquets as tokens of kindness shared among friends and colleagues.
Each participating entrepreneur was presented with certificates marking the highlight of the event.
The event also highlighted LCB’s commitment to fostering an environment where students and staff feel valued, appreciated, and motivated. – Lyna Mohamad
