A taste of Malaysia in Brunei

The Malaysian Food Festival, organised by the High Commission of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with The Rizqun International Hotel and Tourism Malaysia in Brunei, kicked-off with an opening ceremony attended by Cabinet ministers yesterday.

Guests were treated to an array of Malaysian cuisines such as nasi kandar, nasi lemak, nasi dagang, laksa and nasi kerabu, prepared by Malaysian chefs.

Datuk Mohd Aini Atan expressed hope the festival can promote Malaysia’s rich flavours of gastronomy and add value to cultural diversity and foster deeper connections between the two neighbouring countries.
