The Borneo Bulletin Yearbook (BBYB) marked its 30th anniversary at Tarindak D’Seni yesterday.
The event featured various exhibitors showcasing their products and services to guests.
Among the exhibitors was Laksamana College of Business offering a wide range of courses for part-time and full-time students.
Telecommunications companies (telco) Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) and Progresif Sdn Bhd highlighted their plans and services.
DST Sales Manager Partnership Norizah Ahamad shared that the telco has several products for companies including Infinity Business and Mobi Business. “Our services are designed to suit enterprise needs to empower businesses,” she said.
Progresif, meanwhile, showcased cybersecurity solutions, network monitoring and the use of 5G in telemedicine. The cybersecurity solutions include advanced threat detection, prevention tools and real-time monitoring to identify and mitigate potential breaches. It’s booth showed the reduced response time for remote medical assistance due to high-speed connectivity enabled by 5G technology.
Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) showcased its Project Olive aimed at making BIBD the first digital first bank 4.0 by 2025.
The Project Olive team showcased the integration of Olive app with new cash recycling machines (CRM) that allow bank clients to withdraw and deposit cash and access accounts across the entire banking group including BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad. This allows improved convenience with better access as well as negating the need for multiple apps. It is also more secure with biometric authentication.
Also exhibiting at the event was Ben Foods (B) Sdn Bhd showcasing several food products.
Ben Foods representative Lois said among the popular food showcased were Ensure Gold milk formula, FG Walet Bird’s Nest, Pick Up! snack and Capri-Sun drinks. – Adib Noor
