A partial solar eclipse will occur over the Sultanate on Thursday from 11.06am to 1.42pm.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Mosque Affairs Department, will hold mass solar eclipse prayer after mass Zohor prayer in all mosques, suraus and religious halls with a focus at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.
The ministry welcomes public participation in the religious activities at mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout the country on Thursday.
