Brunei Darussalam will host the prestigious Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2024 from December 4 to 7. The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), in collaboration with the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) and InfoCom Federation Brunei (IFB), is organising the event.
Permanent Secretary at the MTIC Ir Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof as Co-Chair I of the APICTA Awards 2024 Working Committee announced the hosting of the APICTA Awards 2024.
The APICTA Awards is an annual celebration of innovation and creativity in the Asia-Pacific region. It brings together 17 member economies to recognise the most ingenious digital solutions.
These solutions are showcased on a regional platform, allowing for wider recognition of their impact and potential, said the permanent secretary.
A ‘Digital Brunei Exhibition’ will run alongside the awards, showcasing various innovations across sectors. The exhibition will be open to the public from December 4 to 6 at The Mall, Gadong. – Fadley Faisal
