The Brunei Darussalam national tennis team left yesterday to compete in the upcoming 2023 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group V at the Bahrain Polytechnic in Isa Town, Bahrain.
The national team led by team captain Billy Wong comprises Mohd Aiman Abdullah, Lim Chung Peng, Gavin Lim, Awangku Ahmad Dasuqi bin Pengiran Haji Sulaiman and Timothy Lim.
The participating countries include hosts Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Macau, Myanmar, Nepal, Qatar, Tajikistan and Yemen. The Sultanate made a return to the premier international team tournament last year in Colombo, Sri Lanka. – Fadhil Yunus
