Brunei takes on Indonesia tomorrow night

Brunei Darussalam are gearing up for their second-round match against Indonesia in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers and the first round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas, tomorrow evening.

In anticipation of the match, a joint press conference was held Monday morning, featuring the national teams of Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia. The press conference took place in the Press Conference Room at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium and was attended by local and Indonesian media practitioners.

Indonesia’s national team coach, Shin Tae-Yong, shared during the press conference that despite his team’s previous victory over Brunei’s national team, they would maintain a high level of focus for the upcoming match. Furthermore, playing away from home, Shin Tae-Yong emphasised the importance of showcasing their best performance in the match.

He acknowledged the determination and significant effort demonstrated by Brunei’s national team in their previous match in Indonesia. Therefore, he expects his team to adapt wisely as Brunei plays on their home ground this time around.
