The Indian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam organised a symposium titled ‘India-Brunei Darussalam Trade and Investment Opportunities for Market Expansion’ at The Rizqun International Hotel recently.
The symposium aimed at deepening economic ties and exploring avenues for trade expansion and investment cooperation between India and the Sultanate, was attended by 50 members of chambers of commerce and government agencies.
Indian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Alok Amitabh Dimri highlighted business opportunities in India and key economic trends.
Presentations at the symposium included ‘Indian Economy Snapshot and India-Brunei Bilateral Trade and Investment Opportunities’ by Head of Chancery SDK Menon; ‘Doing Business in Brunei’ by President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce Nazeer Ahmad; and ‘Exploring Opportunities for Bruneians in India’ by President of the Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haji Abdul Hamid @ Sabli bin Haji Arsad.
