    Brunei 4WD heads to Kalimantan

The Brunei Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Association set out on a 10-day expedition to Kalimantan, Indonesia.

A ceremony was held over the weekend in the presence of Haji Awang Ibrahim bin Haji Awang Damit from the association.

According to the expedition’s chairperson, Azrin bin Haji Kudong, this is the association’s second expedition, aimed to foster ties among the off-roaders from three countries – Malaysia 4WD, Indonesia Off-Road federation and KALBAR.

The expedition also aims to share sustenance and making connections with two Mahad Tahfiz students in Sambas Kalimantan.

Past projects organised by the association include a trip to Kudat, Sabah in 2019, and Selapon, Temburong District, a community assistance project with The Rizqun International Hotel to distribute food to the needy during Ramadhan, and a project with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to assist flood victims and COVID-19 patients at isolation centres. – Azlan Othman
