A meeting with the representatives of team leaders for the grand assembly and procession in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) birth anniversary for 1446 Hijrah was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) yesterday.
The celebration, themed ‘Nurturing the Mind Based on the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)’, will be held simultaneously throughout the country on September 16 at 7am.
The briefing explained the format of the assembly and procession to ensure the smoothness of the celebration.
This year, the assembly and procession are divided into five categories: Unnumbered teams; ministries; higher education institutions/colleges/Arabic school/private high schools; villages and mosques; and associations and private sector.
The Adat Istiadat Negara Department; the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; Royal Brunei Police Force; Fire and Rescue Department; Ministry of Health; Municipal Department; Vehicle and Transport Division, Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Secretariat also delivered briefings.
Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religion) at the MoRA Dr Haji Hardifadhillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh chaired the meeting. – Azlan Othman
