The Imarah Division at the Mosque Affairs Department with cooperation from Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque takmir committee will hold a preliminary round of the National Al-Quran Reading competition for adults for three days from October 22-24 at the Hassanal Bolkiah mosque in Tutong District.
The competition is to select male and female Al-Quran readers for the semifinals coordinated by the Islamic Eminence Department.
Participants must be citizens, Muslims with Mazhab Shafi’e of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah, at least 18 years old and not over 40 years old.
Entry forms are available at the Imarah Division of the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The forms can be submitted in person to the division or via email at imarahjhem@gmail.com by October 14. – Azlan Othman
