Blood banks in the Sultanate are currently facing a blood shortage, specifically blood Types A, B and AB, said the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a statement yesterday.
The public is requested to make donations at the Blood Donation Centre or the nearest blood bank from 8am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 3.30pm on working days. A number of blood donation campaigns have been organised by the Blood Donation Centre. Among them are one at OneCity Shopping Centre today from 10am to 2pm; Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali on November 1 from 9am to 3pm; and Borneo Kopitiam Restaurant and Catering in Gadong on November 4, from 9am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 3pm. – James Kon
