The Blood Donation Centre at the Department of Laboratory Services will organise several blood donation campaigns in the coming week, urging the public to donate and support the national blood supply.
The first campaign will be held tomorrow at Annajat Complex, Beribi on the second floor from 10am to 3pm. Meanwhile, the blood bank of Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah (PMMPMHAMB) Hospital in Tutong District will hold a campaign on Tuesday at the hospital’s ground floor from 8am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Another campaign will be held on Wednesday at the Freshco Shopping Centre, Batu Satu from 10am to 3pm.
A blood donation campaign will also be held at the atrium of the Health Promotion Centre on Thursday from 10am to 3pm marking the centre’s 15th anniversary. The final campaign for the week is slated for Saturday at One City Shopping Centre in Kampong Salambigar from 10am to 2.30pm organised in conjunction with World Post Day 2024 by the Post Office.
Members of the public can also donate blood at the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital during working hours. The public is advised to book slots via the BloodKad app prior to attending a blood donation drive. – Fadley Faisal
