The Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office conducted its Sua Muka (Personal Contact) Programme at the residence of the Acting Village Head of Kampong Merangking, Mukim Bukit Sawat, Belait District on Monday.
Led by Head of the District Branch Division Haji Fathi Foad bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abu Bakar, the initiative aimed to provide updates on current issues and government policies while gathering feedback for relevant agencies.
Officers from the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood were also present to share insights with village residents.
In his opening remarks, Haji Fathi Foad emphasised the department’s role in disseminating government information and policies through platforms such as the Sua Muka Programme and the Pelita Brunei publication.
The Sua Muka Programme, part of the department’s direct communication strategy, strengthens government-citizen engagement by sharing information, addressing concerns, and fostering community development. – Fadley Faisal
